Forget everything you have read in history texts or heard from the government over the past 70 years. Even though the first shots were fired in 1857, the only reason why they left in a hurry in 1947 was the knock-on effects of Subhash Chandra Bose’s untiring efforts to wrest freedom from the British by raising the INA, which while proving largely ineffective during the war, inspired the Naval mutiny of 1946.

Gandhi was a British stooge. And the Congress & Marxists wanted the British to stay so they could become the new class of “brown sahibs”, ruling on behalf of Britain. Unfortunately, the British managed to not only divide India, but also transfer power to their stooges before departure.
