Answer:

Most igneous rocks are found within the earth. Many are found deep under the ground and many are found near volcanoes. Igneous rocks have solified lava or magma, so it makes sense to find them near volcanoes. There are also some underwater volcanoes, that is why there are also some igneous rocks found very deep under water.
