Answer/Expanation:

1. Osmosis

It's when water molecules "equalize solute concentrations in two sides" through a semipermeable membrane. Water molecules move from a high water concentration to a low water concentration. They do this because a low concentration usually means there is a high solute concentration(like salt). This makes water a great universal solvent.

Hypotonic = low solute concentration, high water concentration

Hypertonic = high solute concentration, high water concentration

I recommend watching the vid "Osmosis and Water Potential (Updated)" on a channel by the Amoeba Sisters.

2. Transcription

It is when you copy a strand of DNA to RNA. It is when

Uracil(U) pairs with Adenine(A) and Guanine(G) pairs with Cytosine(C).

Uracil, Adenine, Guanine, and Cytosine are nitrogenous bases that form complementary pairs. They are used to make DNA and proteins.
