Directions: Follow the steps below to complete the writing activity.

Step 1: Write a short paragraph about a fun activity that you like to do.

Step 2: Then rewrite the same paragraph using negative words to change the meaning of the sentences.

Tip: You can use prefixes to form negative words if you like. Here is an example of one sentence;

I like surfing in the ocean.
I dislike surfing in the ocean.

I love geocaching. Geocaching is a fun outdoors activity coined as an international treasure hunt. It promotes healthy exercise, tourism, lateral thinking, problem solving and positive environmental awareness. I try to go geocaching whenever possible.

I hate geocaching. Geocaching is a boring outdoors chore coined as an international treasure hunt. It is uhealthy, demotes tourism, lateral thinking, problem solving and positive environmental awareness. I avoid geocaching whenever possible.
