in the movie mean girls the idea of conformity is represented through the classic trope of highschool cliques. in the typical fashion of a movie showcasing this trope there is a “queen bee” of sorts (regina george) in which most/all of the students in the school highly respect (mostly out of fear) and value the opinion of. because of this they follow her lead in whatever she and her group of friends do. hence they are conforming.
