Answer: C. 8

Explanation: since it takes longer for the second bell to ring by thirty minutes if you multiply it by 8 you get 12 hours total. (1.5 X 8 = 12) and it won’t have enough time to ring once more as 1:00 PM is only an hour away not an hour thirty. So the amount of times BOTH bells will ring is 8 times. Hope that makes sense!
