The proof takes a long way around, so let me be straightforward.

Pre-required knowledge:-

\boxed{\tan\theta=(\sin\theta)/(\cos\theta)}

The tangent ratio in two other ratios.

\boxed{\sin\theta\csc\theta=\cos\theta\sec\theta=\tan\theta\cot\theta=1}

The reciprocal relation. It is not defined for the zero value.

The problem requires the form in
\cot x.

\frac{1}{\cos x\csc{}^(2) x}

=(\sin x)/(\cos x\csc x)

=(\sin x)/(\cot x)

So, this is how it is done.
