10 desks.
This is because each desk is 1 meter, and 80 cm = 0.8 m. Then if you add each desk with the space between it and the next desk you get 1.8m. If you divide 19 by 1.8, you get about 10.5, but you can’t have half a desk, so the answer is 10.
