no further information is given to assist an answer

i recognize that for the triangle on the right the pythagorean triple 7,24,25 could apply, but can you just assume that that will apply here?

6^2 = a^2 + 6^2
b^2=7^2 + 6^2
b^2 = 49 + 36
b^2 = 85
b=9.22

Answer:

Explanation:

7, 24 and 25 is a Pythagorean triple

therefor a = 7 and c = 25

Using Pythagorean theorem to find b

b in small triangle is the hypotenuse

b^2 = a^2 + 6^2

b^2 = 7^2 + 6^2

b^2 = 49 + 36

b^2 = 85

b = 9.22
