The answer is:

17

Work/explanation:

To evaluate the expression, I plug in the value of each variable:

\sf{a^b+b^a}

\sf{2^3+3^2}

Now, evaluate:

\sf{2*2*2+3*3}

Simplify

\sf{8+9}

\sf{17}

Hence, the answer is 17.
