Answer:

The width x is 4.93 cm

Explanation:

This is a rectangular prism,

the formula for volume of rectangular prism is,

V = lwh,

so, for width,

since width = x,

V = lxh

V/(lh) = x

Now, V = 148 cm^3 (it shouldn't be cm^2 )

l = 6 cm

h = 5 cm

so, putting all this into the equation,

(148)/((6)(5)) = x

74/15 = x

x = 4.93 cm

Answer:

width = 4.93 cm

Explanation:

volume = Length × Width × Height

148 cm² = 6cm × x × 5cm

148 cm² = 30cm × x

148 cm² ÷ 30cm =x

x= 4.93 cm
