Answer: 144 square meters, 7200

The four sides of a square are equal, the perimeter is 48, we can get each side by 48/4=12.
The area of a square is it’s side multiplied by another, so the area would be 12*12=144, which is the area of carpet.

We already know that the area is 144, and one square meter is Rs.50, we can calculate the total cost, by 144*50=7200
