for example NaCl (aq) and C6H12O6 (aq)
if so, which one produces more ions?

Most aqueous solutions do produce ions. In the case of NaCl (aq), it completely dissociates into Na+ and Cl- ions when dissolved in water. This means that NaCl produces two ions in total.

On the other hand, C6H12O6 (aq) is a covalent compound known as glucose. It does not readily dissociate into ions when dissolved in water. Instead, it remains mostly as intact glucose molecules.

So in this specific example, NaCl produces more ions than C6H12O6.
