Answer: 8.074 ×
10^(10)

Explanation:

In order to find the scientific notation of a number, we must move the decimal point until we have only one number at the front. In this case, it will be the 8.

Although it is not shown, this number has a decimal point at the end of it, like this: 80,740,000,000.

Now, we must move it a number of places to the left to have only the 8 at the front. Remember, in scientific notation, you must have a one single number at the front for it to be fully in scientific notation.

So: 80,740,000,000 → 8.0740000000. How many times did we move the decimal point? 10 places to the left. Since we moved it to the left and it is a positive number, the exponent will be positive as well.

So, we currently have 8.0740000000. Remember, those extra zeros at the end have no value. They are just placeholders. We can remove them.

So, our final answer is 8.074 x
10^(10)

Hope this helped!
