When it comes to learning, and memorizing, it is really important to establish the difference. Flashcards, are often said to be a great way of learning new material because of the repetitive nature, and it really covers all learning styles. The visual learners are seeing the word and seeing the answer over and over. Some students just learn better by writing notes down and going over, so while making the flashcards you’re studying. But overall studying with flashcards isn’t the best way to learn something, because all you’re doing is memorizing. The best way to learn. Some thing is to write it down, and apply the concepts to further challenge your brain in answering challenging questions. You could learn the definition of the declaration of independence over and over, but the minute you have to apply its values towards a different document, that’s where you’re going to begin to hiccup.
