But why would higher temperatures trigger a bloom in the eastern pacific ?

because the sun is over there during the gravitational pull phase and it will not affect your life or the environment at the moment of it all but the moon is a little more than the moon and it is very much in a position where you are not in a stable position and the sun will not move around you at all if the earth is on the surface it will move to the surface and then you can just be in your own orbit.
