Flora is making a gift box. She plans to cover the entire surface of the gift box with glitter, and she knows that 1 jar of glitter can cover 12 square inches of surface. Based on the net for the gift box below, how many jars of glitter will Flora need to cover the entire surface of the gift box?

8 Jars is the correct answer!

Rectangles:

10 x 3 = 30

30 x 3 = 90 sq. in.

Triangles:

2 x 3 = 6

6 ÷ 2 = 3

3 x 2 = 6 sq. in.

90 + 6 = 96 sq. in.

96 ÷ 12 = 8 jars

Please let me know if I am wrong.
