Step-by-step explanation:

remember that

• el = singular + male

• la = singular + female

• los = plural + male

• las = plural + female

also, remember that

• in Spanish, you need to add an S at the end of a plural noun (just like in english)

• unlike English, you need to add an S at the end of the adjective when the noun is in plural

• colors "verde" and "gris", you don't need to change their last letter to differentiate male from female

• only those colors that end in O (blanco, negro, amarillo, rojo, colorado, morado) will replace the last letter O by an A when the noun is female

• other colors like violeta, purpura, lila, celeste, azul, rosa, naranja, marron, they don't end in O so they won't change their last letter when the noun is female

el papel blanco (white paper)

las pizarras verdes (greenboards)

la tiza blanca (white chalk)

el libro gris (grey book)

la camisa anaranjada (orange shirt)

- if your teacher wants you to use "anaranjado", "rosado", "azulado", you'll need to replace that last O by an A when the noun is female. But truth be told, we also say "la camisa naranja/rosa/azul", or "el zapato naranja/rosa/azul" -

hope it was helpful!
