The length of a rectangle is 5 inches more than its width. The area of the rectangle is equal to 2 inches less than 2 times the perimeter. Find the length and width of the rectangle.

Answer: 11 and 6

Explanation:

l=w+5,

A=2p-2

If L=11,

L-5=w, w=6

11+6+11+6 (2l+2w)=34

34x2=68

A=66,

68-66=2!
