In the beginning of 2020, there was an outbreak, namely the COVID-19 virus appeared in the territory of China which had spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. This virus is spreading rapidly, therefore the government has responded swiftly to close facilities such as places of worship, schools, universities, and several offices that are not included in the PSBB group to avoid crowds. Because this virus is new, there is no cure or vaccine yet, so it is very important to keep your body healthy, so you don't get sick easily. To maintain a healthy body, you need to live a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is a person's efforts to keep his body healthy. A healthy lifestyle can be achieved by eating nutritious foods, exercising regularly, and getting enough rest.
A good body shape is the dream of a man or a woman. The thing that many do to achieve a good body usually comes to the gym. However, based on an article written by Amar Mushanif, exercise only provides 30% benefits. To get the rest, you need adequate and quality sleep, meet the body's calories, and sufficient water intake in the body.
The development of information and technology is very fast, making it easier for humans to communicate and find information. Along with the development of technology, hardware devices that can be carried anywhere and have a relatively small form are created, namely smartphones. According to the statcounter.com website regarding Indonesia's Mobile Operating System Market Share, in the May 2020 period, Android users were ranked first at 91.9%.
Therefore, it is needed to help lose or gain weight with an Android-based healthy lifestyle that provides sports activities, the number of calories to lose/maintain/gain weight per day, a monthly analysis of whether the user has received results or not, calorie calculator, and recipes for cooking or drinking to meet the body's nutrition.
Based on the case study above, a supporting application is needed that can be used to support losing or gaining weight with a healthy lifestyle and having an impact on lifestyle changes to create good habits.
