Daniel Shays' Rebellion was a rebellion that occurred in 1786. This event showed weaknesses from the Articles of Confederation. The weaknesses were about the national government, since it couldn't raise money to pay soldiers, raise an army, or tax citizens. The national government was very weak, and the state governments had most of the power.
