well, the difference is 84 - 30 = 54, so hmmm if we take 30(origin amount) to be the 100%, what's 54 off of it in percentage?

\begin{array}{ccll} Amount&\%\\ \cline{1-2} 30 & 100\\ 54& x \end{array} \implies \cfrac{30}{54}~~=~~\cfrac{100}{x} \\\\\\ \cfrac{5}{9} ~~=~~ \cfrac{100}{x}\implies 5x=900\implies x=\cfrac{900}{5}\implies x=180
