In a large city, you pick a sample of 30 of lawn mowings during summer whose standard deviation is 10.2. The margin of error for a 90% confidence interval will be?

I tried using : (10.2 * 1.645 )/ sqrt(30) = 3.0634

But the correct answer is : 3.1639

Answer:

To calculate the margin of error for a confidence interval, we need to know the standard deviation and the sample size. In this case, the standard deviation is given as 10.2, but the sample size is not provided.

Please provide the sample size so that I can calculate the margin of error for you.
