Actually, Albert Bandura's research on observational learning and social cognitive theory explored the impact of witnessing aggressive behavior and the subsequent modeling of that behavior. In his famous Bobo doll experiment, Bandura found that children who observed an adult model engaging in aggressive behavior towards a Bobo doll were more likely to imitate that behavior themselves. However, Bandura did not specifically study the effects of punishment on aggression in this particular experiment. His work focused more on the processes of observational learning, reinforcement, and modeling in shaping behavior, including aggressive behavior.
