How could the Flood have been responsible for the formation of fossils?

Answer: Because a flood is much stronger than it looks and it can push heavy stuff

Explanation: For example, if an animal lived in a burrow and a flood came and the flood pushed a bunch of stuff like mud rock and other matirials into the burrow and it isolates the animal and suffocates it until it dies and then a long time after it would be dug up and if it died long enough ago than it would be classified as a fossil.

The Flood could have been responsible for the formation of fossils by burying dead organisms quickly in sediment, which over time became rock and preserved the remains of the organisms.
