Explanation:

AREA of circle = pi r^2

Two pizzas radius 6 and 7 inches ( 1/2 of the diameter)

pi 7^2 - pi 6^2 = pi (7^2 -6^2) = pi (49-36 ) = 13 pi = 40.8 in^2
