give tithes because we are already blessed and just giving back the favor to God. tithing is giving honor to God. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine”. It is such an honor and privilege to respect and honor our Provider with such a small gift as the tithe.
