Which expression is equivalent to 4f(x) - 2g(x), if f(x) = 5x2 + 8x - 1 and g(x) = 3x2 - 9x + 7?
A. 14x^2-x+3

Answer: C

Explanation:

4f(x)= 4(5x^2+8x-1) = 20x^2+32x-4

-2g(x)= 2(3x^2-9x+7) = 6x^2-18x+14

20x^2+32x-4

- 6x^2-18x+14
= 14x2+14x+10
