Madeline wants to wrap a candle in the shape of a right circular candle in wrapping paper. the candle has a diameter of 4 inches and a height of 10 inches. How much wrapping paper does she need? Use 3.14 for pi. Please help!!!

i was not too sure what you meant by right circular candle so i thought of a cylinder shape is that’s wrong i apologise

for this you need to find the surface area
first half the diameter to find the radius
next use the equation for the area of a circle
pi x r^2 however you are using 3.14 instead
this is 3.14 x 4 =12.56
next find the circumference of the circle pi x diameter
3.14 x 4= 12.56
next just add these so (if this is wrong just minus whatever’s necessary to make it the correct shape) you have two circles so 12.56+12.56+12.56
