I plugged it into the fromula but i dont get any of the choices on here-example-1

the answer is B. In the choices, the C means combination and the P means permutation. We know it’s combination because the order does NOT matter. Then, the little numbers (I think called subscripts). The first number is the set size, the total number. The second number is the subset size, the number of items selected. In this example there are 6 people total and 3 people chosen (in no particular order) so the answer is 6C3.
