Solve the simultaneous equations:

4x + 3y = 5
2x - 5y = 9

Preferably use elimination rather than other methods.

4x +3y =5 -------> eq (1)

2x -5y =9 -------> eq(2)

eq(2) * -2 --------> -4x +10y =-18 ------->eq(3)

eq(1) + eq(3) -----> 13y =13 ----> y=1 <>

then When you substitute y=1 into any equation

x=7
