Explanation: I’m not sure on this question but a big development that occurred after World War Two was the use of free trade policies which allowed trade with other countries to not have tariffs and restrictions. This makes it easier to purchase consumer goods because it increases the amount of consumer goods being traded in from other countries. I hope this helps
