When do you have to know when to round in any decimal operations?

Most of the time it’s up to tue teacher to decide. HOWEVER the general rule is that if you’re dealing with money, round to TWO places after the decimal. Otherwise round to 3 places after the decimal.

Example:

$12.3456 = $12.35

43.2109 = 43.211
