The surface area of the figure is the areas of the faces all added up.

The area of the triangular bases= 2(0.5•4•6)=24 square meters

The area of the two “slanted” rectangle faces = 2(5•8)=80 square meters

The area of the face sitting on the ground = 6•8 = 48 square meters (notice how this isn’t multiplied by 2 because there is only one of this face)

Now add them up: 24+80+48= 152 square meters
