So Red = 8

Blue = 12

Red OR blue means we add them together; we're only picking 1 time here. (This is different from the other scenarios that you have posted where there's 2 different selections without replacement.)

So basically prob(red OR blue) = prob(red) + prob(blue)

So 8/30+12/30 = 20/30

20/30 = 2/3
