PLEASE HELP CANT FAIL

A box contains 6 green marbles, 4 blue marbles, and 7 orange marbles. Without replacing the first marble, what is the probability of selecting TWO green marbles? Give answer as a percentage.

Explanation:

There are 17 marbles for the first selection. (6 + 4 + 7 = 17)

The probability of selecting a green marble is 6/17.

We are NOT replacing the marble.

Now we have 16 marbles left, and 5 greens are left.

So the probability of taking a green for this 2nd draw GIVEN that we already drew a green & didn't replace it is 5/16.

So multiply the two events:

(6/17) x (5/16) = 15/136 = =0.1102941176 =approx 11.03%
