5. Find the perpendicular distance of the point P (5, 7) from (i) x- axis

6. Find the perpendicular distance of the point Q (-2, -3) from (i) x-axis

Explanation:

1, x = -4 and y = 0

2, 3a =6 and 2b = -8

a =2 and b = -4 by dividing both side of equate equations respectivily.

3, quadrant-IV

4, on x-axis

5, i, 7

ii, 5

6 i) -3
