All of these quadratic equations are in vertex form, which makes it really easy to identify the vertex.

Vertex Form: f(x) = a(x - h)^2 + k

Vertex = (h, k)

As for the quadrants, it is dependent on the positive/negative signs of the x and y coordinates.

---Q1 = (+, +)

---Q2 = (-, +)

---Q3 = (-, -)

---Q4 = (+, -)

y = (x - 3)^2 - 2

Vertex = (3, -2)

Quadrant = Q4

y = (x - 3)^2 + 2

Vertex = (3, 2)

Quadrant = Q1

y = (x + 3)^2 + 2

Vertex = (-3, 2)

Quadrant = Q2

y = (x + 3)^2 - 2

Vertex = (-3, -2)

Quadrant = Q4
