k(9) = 2(9)^2 - 3√9

= 2(81) - 27

= 162 - 27

= 135

If k(x) = 2x^2 - 3√x then k(9) is equal to 2(9)^2 - 3√9 which simplifies to 2(81) - 27 = 162 - 27 = 135 1
