5. A normal deck of cards is composed of four suits (red

heart, red diamond, black spade, and black club) of 13
cards each (2 through 10, jack, queen, king, and ace) for a
total of 52 cards. If one card is drawn from a normal deck
of cards, what is the probability that the card will be a red
card?

The deck of cards is composed of = 4 suits

The four suits = red heart, red diamond , black spade and black club

each card have = 13 cards

= 13×4

= 52

Now,

=2÷52

=26

=26/52

=1/2

therefore, there will be probability of 1/2 of red card
