Using the above formula, you must first convert the (in) to (cm) since volume is measured in cm^{3}. And we can transform the (in) to (cm) by multiplying the in by 2.54

ie. For the first question, 19in = (19 * 2.54) = 48.26cm, convert the diameter to the radius and then to cm. To convert to the radius, divide the diameter by 2 ie. (d/2) = (28/2) = 14in. Convert to cm, 14 * 2.54 = 35.56cm

hence apply the formula.

3.14 * (35.56)^2 * 48.26 = 191619.84 Cm^3

Apply the same formula for the second part and you should get the answer.
