(-3-7)/(3-(-2)) =
(-10)/(3+2) =
(-10)/(5) = - 2 , then

y = - 2x + c ← is the partial equation

to find c substitute either of the 2 points into the partial equation

using (- 2, 7 )

7 = - 2(- 2) + c = 4 + c ( subtract 4 from both sides )

3 = c

y = - 2x + 3 ← equation of line
