Number 1 is b because if you look each vortex is 3 units apart so if you go three up from (5,5) then you get (5,8)
Number 2 is every answer except f. Which is 8,8
The reason this is is because every other coordinate can be reached by drawing lines of three that are either vertical or horizontal from the original vertex until you reach that coordinate.
I attached a picture and you can see how each coordinate connects to the original vertex, except 8,8 which is drawn in blue and you can see that it is attached but by four units instead of three, which means it does not work. Hope this helps!!
