y=1/2x-3

"The slope intercept formula y = mx + b is used when you know the slope of the line to be examined and the point given is also the y intercept (0, b). In the formula, b represents the y value of the y intercept point."

Also, 1/2 (m= slope)

Also, rise⬆️/run↔️ is a good way to remember how to graph them. If the "Rise"(1) is positive it will go up. if it is negative it will go down. if the "Run" (2) is positive, youll go right, if it is negative youll go left.
