World War II was a landmark event in world history. Destruction, violence, and death reigned supreme for six years all around the world. The final act of the war captured the essences of the entire war in the blink of an eye. On August 6th and August 9th the United States unleashed two atomic bombs destroying the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While this action ended the war, the ethics and morality have been debated ever since.
