the corresponding factors are (x - a) and (x - b)

from the graph the roots are where the graph crosses the x- axis

the graph crosses the x- axis at x = 0 and x = 7 , then

the corresponding factors are (x - 0) and (x - 7) , that is x and (x - 7)

the equation is then the product of the factors , that is

r(x) = x(x - 7)
