20 seconds = 8 copies

so every 2.5 seconds, 1 page is made( 20sec/8 page = 2.5 page per second)

2.5 sec = 1 page

48 sec = x page

now you cross multiply, and that goes to: 2.5x = 48

isolate for x

x= 48/2.5

x= 19.2 but it says whole pages so you round down

x = 19 pages in 49 seconds
