SOLUTION:

We have the diameter:


D=12cm

We know:


D=2R\to 2R=12cm\to \boxed{R=6cm}

Substitute:


V=(4)/(3)\pi\cdot6^3=(4)/(3)\pi\cdot216=(4\cdot216:3)/(3:3)\pi=4\cdot72\pi=288\pi(cm^3)

Use
\pi\approx3.14:
