mass is the amount of matter in an object or substance.

the number of protons in an atom is the atomic number, the pull of gravity on an object is weight, and the amount of space an object or substance takes up is volume.

I know you didn't ask those questions, but I saw you asking questions with these answers, and someone in this question got the wrong answer by accident.
