A = 36

A = 1/2 * b * h

A = (1/2) * 4 * 6

A = (1/2) * 24

A = 12

36 - 12 = 24sq²

Answer:

Area = ½* height(a+b)

Where;

a=4units

b=8units

h=6units

Therefore Area= ½*6(4+8)

= ½*6*12

=36sq.un
